Our initial inspiration came from observing monks, who cultivate wisdom and peace in small and simple spaces.
The original building - the ZenShed - was touted as a meditation shed. Its size meets the standards for towing and building - PERMIT FREE - worldwide.

In alignment with this philosophy, we offer a portion of our profits to wisdom based Foundations and services such as Sounds True Foundation, Unified Mindfulness and the Earth Charter.

❏ Bottom floor panels have a protective sealant. Interior and exterior walls are OSB.
❏ Pre-cut opening for a standard 36″ single entry pre-hung door
(door not included)
❏ Pre-cut opening for a 5′ wide patio, garage, or screen door
(door not included)
❏ All seal

Delivery : Arrangements for delivery will me made when all details are finalized.
How to Build Your ZenShed
The 'Little building that Could' is designed as a DIY project.
User-friendly, detailed instructions will be provided with your
purchase.
The 96sf instructions are possible for those without major building experience.
The 144sf can still be for beginners but building experience and human-power for the roof and floor is required.
To build you
The 'Little building that Could' is designed as a DIY project.
User-friendly, detailed instructions will be provided with your
purchase.
The 96sf instructions are possible for those without major building experience.
The 144sf can still be for beginners but building experience and human-power for the roof and floor is required.
To build you need:
- An appropriate foundation in place
- Two to three people to assemble the building (a 4th party is helpful to put roof panels on).
- Approximately two 10 hour days (20 hours) to complete the assembly.
If you want to hire someone to build your ZenShed, talk to us first.
We can coordinate delivery with a skilled tradesperson. There will
be an extra fee for their services. Rates vary based on location.
